REFORM OVERTAKEN BY THE PARTY IT SAID WAS DEAD, WHICH IS AWKWARD FOR EVERYONE INCLUDING THE CORPSE
For two years Reform has been telling anyone who'd listen that the Conservatives are finished. The Conservatives, rudely, have not been listening: new More in Common research puts them on 24% to Reform's 23%. Pollster Luke Tryl says Reform is down nine points from its peak and caught in a 'pincer movement' between the Tories and Rupert Lowe's Restore – a manoeuvre the party would recognise if it ever attended a defence debate. Asked for comment, Reform declined, which is at least consistent.
THE BORING BIT: WHAT THE REAL REPORT SAYS
More in Common research puts the Conservatives on 24% and Reform UK on 23%; Luke Tryl says Reform support is down nine points from its peak last autumn and the rise of Restore Britain has 'put them in a pincer movement'; for Reform, a lack of trust, especially in Farage, is a growing barrier. Reform UK declined to comment.
